our story started when former wall street lawyer, elissia sigalow, saw a gap in the furniture market. elissia had a simple ask when designing her own home — minimalist design and high quality that she wouldn’t look back on 10 years later and wonder, “what was I thinking?”. she took matters into her own hands by founding STOWED to create, design, and build hand-crafted wood and upholstered pieces to love as much in 40 years as now.
