Secondary Industry Classification:Miscellaneous Manufacturing
Established:1997

Custom Plastic Forming was founded by the Martin family in 1997 in Salisbury, North Carolina, approximately 40 miles north of Charlotte. Seeing a need in the growing golf car customization market, Custom Plastic Forming opened to manufacture golf car sun tops. Soon after, the owners discovered other markets that could be served. Our plant features state-of-the-art equipment that enables us to produce a variety of custom thin-gauge and heavy-gauge plastic components. Our capabilities begin with design and engineering to development of prototypes, tool-making, and manufacture of components, including assembly. Logistics and shipping operations are critical to customer success and work in sync with receipt of raw materials, manufacturing, fulfillment and customer service. We believe that the order is not complete until customer service follows-up to ensure that everything is right with the product. If you already have designs for your product, CPF can work from them, providing enhancements and recommending materials to meet your product standards and budget parameters. Custom Plastic Forming serves customers nationally and internationally in many industries including, but not limited to, the automotive, recreational, construction, textile, medical, distribution, and electronics industries. Our company’s focus has always been, and continues to be, to provide solutions that help our customers maximize profits.
