MARC’s mission is to support vocational rehabilitation and developmental training in this region for adults with physical or mental disabilities or both. MARC is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in 1978 that supports 15 non-profit Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRP) in a 23-county region of western North Carolina. MARC member organizations provide best-practice education and life skills training, along with effective employment training that includes evaluation to identify strengths and talents, work training to teach good work habits and job skills, and job coaching and supported employment to build success for both employee and employer.
