HSM packaging was founded in 1946 by Homer S. Martin, an energetic entrepreneurial, whom left one of the large integrated paperboard firms to start a company of his own . At the time, it was the first paperboard packaging company in the northeast to convert from letterpress to offset printing. As a tightly controlled, now fourth generation owned, company it has carved a niche in the industry of manufacturing paperboard folding cartons. HSM provides just-in-time manufacturing for its customers with a turnaround of two weeks or less.
