DSI manufactures high-performance, medical-grade, viscoelastic, polyurethane foams used in orthopedic cushions, support surfaces, and mobility equipment where pressure relief is critical. Secondary markets include aircraft, auto, heavy equipment, and sports applications requiring impact energy dissipation and vibration reduction. American-made with natural plant materials and optional FR ingredients. Incorporated in 1967, Dynamic Systems began research in 1969 to perfect foam cushion materials having both high energy absorption and soft pressure properties. In cooperation with NASA, the materials were applied to crash safety seats for aircraft, ejection seating, and various medical applications. In the following decades, the technology expanded to provide wheelchair seating and direct custom-molded seating systems for the severely disabled. Today our high-tech viscoelastic polyurethane foam materials can be found in a variety of products utilized in many different industries around the world: aircraft, medical, heavy equipment, sports, furniture, veterinary, and more.
